We have conducted private expeditions since 1981, mostly in Australia but also other countries. 

The water-based expeditions were mostly "goal-oriented" (first, record, etc). Up to six power dinghies take part in the boating expeditions but generally three (is an acceptable number.  Land support vehicles follow the boat crews, providing re-supply of fuel, crew changes and spare parts as needed.  The two teams rendezvous for an overnight camp.

However, our emphasis is changing to land-based, 4WD expeditions.  The Australian focus for these expeditions is in following the routes of early explorers (in conjunction with the Western Australian Explorers'  Diaries Project.  (Go to their website.). Other expeditions have included trips to India to race in a cross country marathon rallies, trips to various locations throughout Australia to participate in 4WD and off road racing events and general outback 4WD touring.
