The measurements listed hereunder are at variance with those from the statutory Geosciences Australia, the out-of-date Wikipedia and the breezy Geographical Extremes Society. And others.
A GPX file is provided for each element of this very small database.
The data are subject to review, re-measurement and rigorous outside scrutiny and any substantiated error will be corrected. and acknowledged.

With the advent of readily available satellite imagery the accepted published lengths of all rivers is subject to scrutiny/re-measurement.
Alan Davison, owner/publisher of the website Expected Time of Arrival Unknown, is one of very few who has accurately measured many Australian rivers using current day technology. Moreover, he has actually traversed many of the rivers. His findings have been referenced in this table.
The observant reader will note that I am at variance with his data in a few cases - generally minimally. The exception is with the Murray and Darling rivers. While the measurements coincide with mine the application is at variance. Philosophy, defintion, politics, history, terminolgy or just a different point of view.
