A short Road Trip through the north-east Wheatbelt to refurbish Moujakine Well on a farm north-east of Trayning. This historic well has important and seminal links to the discovery of gold and the opening of the eastern goldfields.
Our ‘Get Out of Town Strategy” is to stay Friday night at Kwolyin Campground.
The next day we’ll visit Kokerbin Rock, Kellerberrin Hill, Coffin Rock and Hunt’s Doodlakine Well on the way to Trayning.
After cleaning up the well co-located with White Man Rock at Moujakine we’ll visit a number of points on interest including the Trayning Gnammas, Waddouring Dam, Cowcowing, old gypsum mine, Rabbit Proof Fence, Minivale, Uberin Rock and Oak Park.
The run home is through Julimar to Bindoon and then south to the metro area.
