Cape Le Grand

Cape Le Grand and the associated 30,000+ hectare National Park (formed in 1966) were named after Le Grand, an officer of the L’Esperance, one of the ships in Admiral Bruny D’Entrecasteaux’s 1792 expedition along the southern coast of Australia and beyond.
