Moorowing Rock

Moorowing Rock was an instrumental recovery point after the ill fated rush to Siberia in 1893.

A fire was lighted atop the rock to act a beacon for the dozens of luckless men struggling to find a return across waterless sand plains after a fruitless attempt to find gold 82 kilometres to the north-east.
