Wat Ku Kaew is a late 12th/early 13th century ancient Khmer arogyasala (medical facility) with a central shrine (tower missing) and east-facing, gopura (entrance).
In Khmer style it is enclosed by a laterite wall and includes a ‘library’ within the walled area.

Wat Ku Kaew, Baan Hua Sa, Tambon Don Chang, Amphoe Mueang, Khon Kaen Province.
16°22’31.71″N 102°44’19.1″E. It is only 20 minutes from central Khon Kaen.
