A ten day, 2900 kilometre Road Trip to Northern Thailand starting from Khon Kaen and covering 15 Provinces (Khon Kaen, Chaiyapum, Petchabun, Phitsanoluk, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Loei and Nong Bua Lam Phu).
The majority of the Road Trip was on Rural Roads. Much of it was through mountainous terrain, most of it spectacular. All of it was a worthwhile Road Trip.
Our vehicle was a Mazda CX3 Hatchback with a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol Skyactiv engine, 109kW of power and 198Nm or torque, 0-100 in under 8 seconds.
